The challenge
As SCG International expanded into new business models to meet evolving customer demands, the limitations of its previous ERP system (SAP) became more apparent — effective for established operations, but costly and inflexible to adapt for new initiatives, with adjustments risking disruption to core processes. The company needed a more agile ERP that could align with evolving needs without affecting ongoing workflows, and it also envisioned leveraging modern technologies, particularly AI, to drive smarter decision-making and accelerate innovation.
The solution
After evaluating multiple ERP solutions, SCG International selected Oracle NetSuite (via Jcurve) for its flexibility, integration capabilities and cloud-native design. NetSuite supports full end-to-end coverage for a variety of new business models and provides the scalability needed to handle large transaction volumes efficiently. Beyond implementation, Jcurve’s System Admin service (delivered by the same team that handled the implementation) provides ongoing close support, and Jcurve’s Thai Localization integrates accounting/finance processes with Thai Revenue Department requirements for simpler local tax compliance.
The results
Since implementing NetSuite ERP, SCG International has streamlined document processes (saving time across departments), reduced manual errors through automated workflows, and gained greater flexibility — allowing users to manage certain features without relying on implementers. The user-friendly interface has boosted adoption across teams, with enhanced visibility/transparency and strong real-time monitoring of operations. NetSuite also brought capabilities the previous system couldn’t offer: fast, cost-effective integration with other systems; custom report views and exports users can manage independently; regular version upgrades; and scalable user management that adjusts to business growth. Access to data anytime, anywhere via mobile or notebook has increased decision-making agility.
As we expand our business internationally, we needed an effective system to manage and support that growth — and NetSuite ERP is the answer.
