THE STUDIO – BKK COMPANY LIMITED is a fine-jewelry manufacturer of gemstones and precious metals, serving as a key production hub for global luxury brand LAGOS. Based in Bangkok and part of an international supply chain, it needed an ERP that integrates financial data, complies with Thai tax rules and maintains global standards.
The challenge
When it adopted Oracle NetSuite ERP from its parent company, certain accounting and tax functions didn’t align with Thai requirements, because the parent’s rollout was designed for trading, not manufacturing. Issues: accounting/tax not fully compliant with the Revenue Department, limited manufacturing functionality (raw-material management/cost control), and reliance on Excel for reconciliations and reporting that increased workload and error risk.
The solution
Implemented Jcurve’s Thai Localization — a Revenue Department–certified module tailored for Thai accounting and tax. It automates VAT and WHT within NetSuite, eliminating external spreadsheets and manual calculations. Jcurve responded within a day of the initial inquiry, making a strong first impression.
The results
Managing accounting and tax became much easier with no reliance on Excel — data is accurate, transparent and less error-prone. It reduced manual work and duplicate entry, automated VAT and WHT reporting/submissions, achieved full compliance with Thai law, and made financial data easily traceable and auditable.
