Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) is the national sports body governing swimming, water polo, artistic swimming, diving and open-water swimming in Singapore. Founded in 1939, it aims for Singapore to be a leading medal-winning nation at the Asian Games. It is a non-profit organisation.
The challenge
Its accounting system couldn’t keep up with growing complexity. It wanted to automate and integrate financials, sales, purchasing, HR and leave into one system. Process complexity had crept in and financial reporting took a long time — it needed an all-in-one ERP delivering accurate, real-time data.
The solution
Chose NetSuite cloud ERP, implemented by JCS (a 5-Star NetSuite partner in Singapore) with experience from 600+ implementations, who understood non-profit needs and customised accordingly. It implemented automated purchase orders, live dashboards, report snapshots and instant actual-to-budget comparison.
The results
Financial reporting is 2–3 times faster, saving the hire of one additional full-time staff member. Non-profit governance is stronger, with integrated HR/payroll/expense management. Financial data is visible in real-time from anywhere, and staff can submit leave and expense claims without being in the office.
Since implementing the NetSuite platform, we have seen significant efficiency gains in financial reporting and saved on hiring an additional full-time staff member.
