Kleenmaid is a high-quality European kitchen-appliance brand dating to 1985. After a 2009 financial collapse, Compass Capital Partners acquired the brand name, trademark and logo and relaunched it into an Australian success story, building its new operations entirely on JCurve’s unified software.
The challenge
Kleenmaid’s needs: real-time data to monitor KPIs, superior inventory management, customer record management, eCommerce, cloud mobility and ease of use. As a ‘born-again’ business, it needed a system as agile and responsive as the business itself.
The solution
After evaluating a MYOB cloud solution, it discovered JCurve (built on NetSuite). A discovery session built confidence, and an implementation/training package tailored the system. A customised eCommerce portal lets distributors order straight into the back-end, cutting data transfers/duplication, with multi-site warehousing in three states and automatic min/max stock calculation.
The results
An order placed on the website is actioned at HQ, routed to the 3PL provider, and picked and packed within 15 minutes with little user interaction. Each user builds a role-specific dashboard; stock visibility shows every display model nationwide and assigned/unassigned stock per warehouse. Real-time data removes guesswork and delivers real ROI, supporting 8 mobile sales reps nationwide.
I’ve worked with other systems but Jcurve’s ability to transact, answer questions and problem solve anywhere, anytime is by far the easiest and most mature I’ve experienced.
