Life.interiors is a modern furniture wholesaler and retailer that started in a suburban shed and grew into a national success story, with expansive showrooms, wholesale, online and retail channels, plus international franchises in the works. Founded by Basil and Geoffrey Karam.
The challenge
It needed a cloud-based, scalable system to manage wholesale, in-store and online customers, handle thousands of monthly transactions, with advanced inventory and a centralised business view. With 5,000 SKUs and 100+ local and international suppliers, it needed a highly flexible, scalable solution.
The solution
The founder (a former CTO/CIO) thoroughly reviewed the market and chose JCurve ERP for cost-effectiveness, advanced inventory management, cloud-based low maintenance, and as NetSuite’s small business edition with a growth path. The whole business runs in the cloud (incl. files/email), remote staff log in anywhere, and stock-level delivery and invoicing to partners are automated.
The results
It moves fast — one person’s change reflects instantly across the business with no bottleneck. Dashboards on phone/tablet show KPIs and P&L; inventory and slow-moving stock are visible; reports drill into each location. Order volume rose 220%, growing across retail/online channels with minimal effort. Now at the 20-user limit, it is scaling up to the NetSuite wholesale distribution edition.
