Channel Asia Innovation Awards Finalist 2020: Arthur Fernandez

Channel Asia has announced the finalists of the Innovation Awards in 2020, playing host to the most competitive and comprehensive selection of partners, distributors and vendors across Southeast Asia.
In total, more than 90 organisations are represented across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam and Myanmar, in addition to regional success at ASEAN, Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific levels.
Overall, the awards will celebrate the channel across seven categories – Partner Value; Emerging Tech; Vendor Value; Distributor Value; Personal Innovation; Channel Choice and Hall of Fame.

JCurve Solutions Asia is proud to announce,  GM – Arthur Fernandez has placed as a finalist in the Personal Innovation – Management Excellence (Region) category amongst other well-known leaders in the industry.
This award honours senior managers from the vendor, distributor or partner organisations who have an outstanding track record in managing successful teams and/or businesses. This individual will have delivered value to either the channel, partners or end-users, helping drive innovation from the top level down.
The General Manager of JCS Asia is responsible for all JCS’ activities in Asia and oversees the development and delivery of a strategic and operational execution plan for the JCS Asia business unit within JCurve Solutions.

Arthur Fernandez joined JCurve solutions in December 2018 following JCS’ acquisition of his Oracle NetSuite Solution Partner business. As the newly appointed General Manager at the time, Arthur was tasked to lead the expansion of the JCS business in Asia and has been successful in sustainably growing his team in Singapore and the Philippines.

Transitioning from an owner-operator of a small business to becoming a General Manager of an Australian listed entity was never easy but he was successful in doing so as it not only contributed to his personal growth but also the growth of his team as they adapt to this new corporate culture. Aside from this, he also established a delivery center of excellence and a marketing lead generation strategy for the company. Both Singapore and Philippine branches now serve JCS across Australia, New Zealand, and all other territories across Southeast Asia.

Arthur contributed to the growth of the company when he established a Business Development Associate (BDA) team in the Philippines to support all sales teams across APAC. The BDA team is responsible for lead generation and lead qualification and his effort to centralise JCS’ lead generation activities has improved consistency and efficiency. We eventually saw larger growth in our lead generation efforts and sales when BDAs started working with Business Development Representatives (BDMs) to support them throughout the sales process (appointment setting, and CRM management) and removing the administrative load from our front- line sale people.


Set for Thursday 10 December, winners will be unveiled during a celebration ceremony hosted virtually, alongside dedicated editorial streams deep-diving into local market research; customer priorities and next steps as Southeast Asia repositions for growth.
